What is Form E ?

Form E is a certificate of origin used to request customs tax reductions under the ACFTA Agreement (ASEAN-China Free Trade Area) between ASEAN and China. It aims to develop the economy, trade, and investment among 11 member countries, which are Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and China.

However, the tax reduction depends on the customs tariff code of the goods. Importers must verify whether the goods they intend to import are eligible for this special privilege. (more…)

What is Form A ?

Form A is a certificate of origin issued to exporters to claim special customs tariff privileges. It helps in obtaining exemption or reduction of import duties for goods exported to countries that offer trade preferences, such as the European Union, Switzerland, Japan, Canada, Norway, Bulgaria, Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovak Republic, Russian Federation, Australia, New Zealand, United States of America, and Belarus.
